Meet Loyd

Loyd is Deeployd's built-in AI assistant that helps you configure, manage, and operate your AI workforce through natural conversation.

What is Loyd?

Instead of navigating complex settings and reading documentation, you can simply chat with Loyd to accomplish anything:

  • Deploy AI teams - "I want to set up a sales team that qualifies leads"
  • Configure agents - "Make my support agent more formal in responses"
  • Troubleshoot issues - "Why isn't my SDR agent sending follow-ups?"
  • Learn the platform - "What's the difference between sequential and parallel execution?"

Where to Find Loyd

Loyd appears as a floating chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the Deeployd dashboard. Click the sparkles icon to open the chat panel.

The widget:

  • Floats over all pages
  • Can be minimized by clicking the button again
  • Persists conversation history across sessions
  • Is always available while you're logged in

Team Setup & Configuration

You: I need a team to handle customer support tickets

Loyd: Great! I'll set up a Support Team for you. A few questions:
- What ticketing system do you use? (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, etc.)
- What should happen when an agent can't resolve a ticket?
- Should responses be auto-sent or reviewed first?

Loyd can:

  • Create new teams from templates or from scratch
  • Configure team behavior (execution mode, autonomy, collaboration)
  • Add or remove agents from teams
  • Set up connections and integrations

Agent Management

You: My sales team is being too aggressive with follow-ups

Loyd: I can adjust that. Currently your Follow-up Agent sends emails
every 2 days. Would you like me to:
1. Increase the delay between follow-ups (e.g., 5 days)
2. Reduce the maximum number of follow-ups (currently 5)
3. Make the tone more consultative

Loyd's Watchdog Role

Loyd also monitors your AI teams for suspicious behavior:

  • Infinite loops - Agents stuck in repetitive patterns
  • Cost spikes - Unexpected increases in API usage
  • Excessive provisioning - Too many resources being created
  • Unusual patterns - Behavior outside normal parameters

When Loyd detects issues, it can automatically pause the affected team and notify you.

Privacy & Security

  • Loyd conversations are stored in your browser's local storage
  • Loyd has access to your tenant's data to provide accurate help
  • Loyd cannot access other tenants' data
  • All actions Loyd takes are logged in audit trails

Tips for Working with Loyd

  1. Be specific - "Set up a sales team" is good, but "Set up a sales team for B2B SaaS targeting CTOs" is better

  2. Ask follow-up questions - If Loyd's first response isn't quite right, clarify what you need

  3. Use Loyd for learning - Ask "why" questions to understand best practices

  4. Let Loyd guide you - When unsure, describe your goal and let Loyd ask the right questions
